Introducing Endangered Species
Endangered Species is the perfect party band. A 4 piece funk and soul outfit that stands out in Melbourne’s music scene with it’s unique voice and fresh sound, not trying to simply recreate classic tunes, but keep them alive and funky.
Comprising musicians who are genuinely passionate about funk and soul music, and are dedicated to expressing that passion to all audiences, Endangered Species has performed at a wide variety of events and venues.
Endangered Species’ broad repertoire of styles includes songs from across the funk, soul, disco, pop, hip-hop, rock and R & B spectrum, from the 60s and 70s to contemporary hits. Artists such as Stevie Wonder, Jamiroquai, Michael Jackson, Aretha Franklin, Chaka Khan, Prince, Marvin Gaye, D’Angelo and many more.
This band gets crowds dancing for hours and is devoted to preserving the joy and musicality of these phenomenal songs. Perfect for formal or casual functions, Endangered Species is available for venues, weddings, parties, corporate or private functions, bar/bat mitzvahs and any event where people want to dance!
But don’t hire 2 bands – Endangered Species also plays lounge, groove and jazz sets to start an evening off or to create a relaxed and chic atmosphere.
