Frank Powell (Vocalist, Guitarist, Entertainer) is an experienced performer who adds personality, humour and talent to every performance. His ability to draw an audience to celebrate an event is what makes him a great entertainer.
Whatever the occasion that requires musicians, whether it be weddings or corporate events, Frank's musical and entertainment talent ensures an exciting and memorable event for all.
Aimee Smith (Vocalist, Keyboard Player, Saxophone) adds an energy to the live sound of Melody Makers playing keyboard along with lead vocals and featuring on the sax during the performance.
She sings classic party songs with infectious rhythms from current artists such as Gwen Stafani, to the sensational retro sounds of ABBA, easing the pace to the velvet sounds of Nora Jones, Nina Simone & Dido.
Aimee's experience has found her working in various bands in the Melbourne music scene. As a credit to her vast experience, she worked a resident duo in California and was the founder of the original Kylie Show.

...Just to let you know, we were sooo happy with the band, they were awesome and exactly what we wanted. They were funny, entertaining and played exactly the sort of music we liked and requested. They made the night very relaxed and enjoyable. All the guests were up and dancing till the end which speaks for itself. Frank was great, funny, easy going, easy to communicate with and a pleasure to have there. They were both great singers also. I would definately remember them for future functions. Would you be kind enough to pass this on to them also. I would love them to know how happy we were they were our band on our wedding day.I thank-you for organising them and making the whole process so easy and stress free, exactly what I wanted organising a wedding.

...I would just like to thank you for organizing the band, Melody Makers, with Frank and Aimee in November, where we celebrated my 60th birthday. The venue was fantastic and Melody Makers made the night. Singing everyone's favourites and getting everyone up singing and dancing the night to the very end. Selecting people out of the crowd to help sing songs and especially getting me up to sing Mustang Sally along with many others. They were extremely professional and I would highly recommend them to anyone wishing to have a good night as we did. Thanks again.
