UNDERBELLY - The Golden Smile
Just when you thought it was safe to once again venture into the dark corners of some of Australia’s seedy allyways, the latest characters from Patrick Duffy’s Cleverfools sees the underbelly of Australian crime put under the microscope
Larger than life wanna-be notorious gangsters and slightly crooked cops will have you breaking your funny bones on pure uncut Columbian chuckle with a street value second to none.
Offering roaming interactive characters and improvised comedy shows designed to suit your conference or function these guys are so funny they should be arrested !!!

THE DELLA PASTA FAMILY
As the guests arrive at the venue they are greeted at the door by Rigatoni Della Pasta, Bouncer and son of the famed Don Linguine Della Pasta and his infamous Mamma Rigatoncini.
Rigatoni makes it difficult for the guests to enter based on their attire or general attitude.
Once in the venue they are presented with pre dinner drinks and nibbles.
On meet and greet is the mamma Rigatoncini.
When all the guest have arrived there is an announcement from the son Rigatoni that the Don himself is in attendance this evening and you’re all privileged that he has decided to cook for you all and he is welcomed from the kitchen.
Bursting in comes Don Linguine Della pasta, Mob boss, and cook !
After general platitudes the characters mix and mingle and assign to each guest a ‘family’ gangster name, linked to their own.
Ie; John Smith becomes .. John the weasel Smith Marion Jones becomes Marion the Mankiller Jones etc etc
These are written onto sticky labels and placed on each guest.
The evening is then hosted by the Della Pastas
Through the evening the Don acts as an MC/Host type character keeping the evening entertaining and functional.
Later in the evening the Della Pastas present a 35 – 40 minute improvised comedy show.
Presented by the characters using ideas and suggestions from the audience in the vain of ‘who’s line is it anyway’ or ‘Theatresports’ to create humorous stories and situations.
I guarantee a good time … you know what I’m say’n ..if not someone will be swimm’n wid da fishes !!!!!
DRUNK SANTA AND ELFVIS !
Ho Ho ‘Hic !’ It’s Christmas again and our Jolly fat friend has completely gotten into the Christmas Spirit !!
A little too many of them in fact – Who’s idea was it to have a Christmas break at the winery, and now Santas just a little too drunk !
The concept for the evening is as follows, Santa has over so many years of taking on all the stresses of getting ready for the ‘big day’, finally snapped !!
His nose is now redder than Rudolfs and the Jolly fat man is just way too Jolly for words.
Accompanied by his long suffering, but ever faithful sidekick Elfvis impersonator, these 2 comedic Christmas clowns bring a fun filled afternoon of Christmas madness to any winery party.
As the guests arrive at the venue they enjoy a few drinks in the sunny courtyard of the winery.
But soon from somewhere in the ‘distance’ the not so tuneful songs of Christmas cheer are heard.
Weaving his way through the vineyards comes Santa and Elfvis
He sets himself up on his throne and welcomes all, giving out presents randomly or to a select amount of chosen staff.
Hair brushes to bald guys, makeup kits to men, etc
Later in the afternoon / evening there is the performance of a 35 – 40 minute improvised comedy show.

THE MOUNTJOYS – Medieval madness
The Cleverfools transport you to a world of Medieval Madness, Mirth and Mayhem
The evening revellers are met at the door by the ‘hosts’ of the evening.
Two daper and eccentric English folk of the manor…The Mountjoy’s
They can be a combination of, either the Lord and Lady Mountjoy or the Mountjoy brothers.
As the guests mix and mingle, our two charming and robust hosts ‘The Mountjoys’ circulate to ensure that their guests are comfortable and enjoying the evening.
A General announcement of welcome ( and housekeeping ) is made by the hosts and an invitation to revel in the glory of the evening festivities.
On the onset of the dinner ‘the Mountjoys’ welcome the delegate to sit and enjoy the meal …this is done by a rhyming couplet as is the announcement of all the courses of the meal.
As the meal is progressing the hosts are roaming the tables ensuring that a festival jocularity is maintained throughout the evening.
After the main course and in keeping with the fashion of the time our hosts entertain the guests with an improvised segment of storytelling of trials and tribulations of life in medieval England.
This involves the audience in an interactive 30 / 40 minutes of mirth and mayhem.
With all the guests and staff dressed in Medieval costume and the characters that they deal with are larger than life, the evening is an enjoyable trip back in time and a memorable look at life in the middle ages.
Patrick's creative team will supply two professional improvisers who will act as the ‘hosts’ for the evening to carry out all the duties outlined in the brief above, and to liaise with the client to ensure the smooth running of the event.
Patrick’s outstanding humour and his outrageous clever characters have been nothing short of brilliant.
His exceptional ability to interact with the groups on all levels whilst maximizing the entertainment factor and maintaining a level of professionalism is truly quite amazing!
