Introducing T.L.C.

This warm, talented and energetic duo is made up of Curtis on guitar and vocals, and Fiona on bass guitar and vocals. They play covers and have a very live sound with great backing tracks. Curtis has played in bands for years and loves that live band sound. He makes sure the duo has quality backing for party songs right through to ‘dinner music’.

T.L.C. “The Love Crystals” can perform with or without backing tracks, and just to be that little bit more unique, Curtis plays acoustic guitar through an effects pod, producing amazing effects. Fiona plays acoustic bass, so when they perform purely acoustically, the two instruments compliment one another. It’s fun and they achieve a great variety of sounds in the repertoire they perform.

Alternatively, Curtis can also play electric guitar with the optional pre-recorded bass guitar onto the backing tracks, leaving Fiona free to just sing, instead of playing acoustic bass.

The duo covers a wide variety of styles. For party crowds, T.L.C can keep audiences dancing all night with favorite Retro, Disco and Rock hits. They can slide into light jazz and light pop for that ‘romantic dinner’ setting, creating a relaxing atmosphere acoustically or with backing.

With their great range of rock ‘n’ roll songs from the 50’s and 60’s, through to swing and blues. This duo can cater to crowds of all ages, and they aim their music to audiences aged 25 - 75.

Their pitch is "Lets do it!" A culmination of talent and experience, Curtis and Fiona have worked professionally together in three other bands leading up to their duo The Love Crystals. Their melodic vocals and harmonies combine beautifully. Described as ‘uplifting’, T.L.C. are great entertainment for all events.
